And just like that April is done, what a ride!!!

April was one wild ride for us at the farm and we loved every minute of it. It was kick started with Kempsey Show, this was our first time being a part of a Show event and it was such a great time. It was so lovely to be able to watch individuals from all ages cuddle and pat all the animals.

We had 3 different vocational care groups visit during school holidays and our first preschool visit at which I didn’t know who was more excited the kids or me enjoying watching them explore the farm, hugging rabbits, tasting honey and just enjoying each other company.

We headed to Hat Head Markets unfortunately we got rained out early in the event but this is one we will be sure to take part in during the future holidays. It was so much fun bringing the farm experience to the visitors at the caravan park.

Then we had the pleasure of going to one of our local Nursing Homes with our mobile farm set up, it was equally lovely watching the senior community connect back to farm life.

There were 4 private birthday parties at the farm which are always fun to be part of one of which had 4 generations at the farm at once which is always just so lovely to see.

We then had our normal open days it sure was a busy month but it was so great to really get into the swing of it. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings but I can say so far it has been one great ride!!!!
